African Conversations & Connections Tours is excited to announce our local economic empowerment agenda for 2020 & beyond, our commitment to supporting the inclusive development of women in this mountainous region of Ghana - where our founder, Akosua, hails from. 

 

African Conversations & Connections commits to dedicating 5% of our net annual profits to projects supporting women entrepreneurship in Kwahu.

We believe that entrepreneurship provides opportunities for women to earn their own incomes while recognizing that older women (who are often tasked with raising grandchildren due to their children seeking 'greener pastures' in the cities) face unique challenges when starting a venture - namely gender, age, and location.
